Receptionist staff are very rude now I don't know who but there is always this lady who has a attitude!! Once I called up and the receptionist told me that the Doctors have families with children who they need to spend time With! The tone of her voice is horrible I don't think that lady should be a receptionist!!
I appreciate the fact that our doctors are very busy from day to day but to be told about that they need to go home and they can't see you , you need to go elese where while your suffering in pain its not a nice experience!
Your reception staff are very rude in person and on the phone. They have no patients or manner. They either need new staff or the current staff need courses teaching them how to speak to patients.
I am a professional working full time and I am finding the new appointment system extremely unhelpful.
Finding the time to call the surgery during the working day is not easy, you have to wait a considerable time to get through and then are informed that the doctor that you need to speak to if fully booked for telephone call backs, this has happened for a second day for a second day. I have been advised to try again.
The system disadvantages working patients. Being able to book on line was a much better system in my opinion.
I am now waiting longer for the outcome of tests I have had - not satisfactory!
It's a nightmare because you will hold for long and at times the call is just cut off after such a long wait.
moreover, I have hearing problems, I request for the doctor to ring back, I do not hear.
Sometime I wait for long time for the doctors to referral from the psychologist and the reception read my results when it should be the doctors in the surgery .
I sometime don't like at all especially when there people behind me a queued and there can hear that informations about you .
